Biography
Val Cozzens was born in Massachusetts in 1992. After discovering her passion for acting at age 12, she began performing in a variety of theatre productions including You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, As Bees in Honey Drown, and The Servant of Two Masters. Upon graduating with her BA in Theatre from Salem State University, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Val has worked on multiple projects including a lead role in a powerful short for the Feminist Media Festival at the University of Southern California, and a lead role in the short film, Constant State of Flux, funded with a grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Most recently she will be seen as the lead in Green Mama, an indie short set to premier January 2019. Additional credits include a supporting role in the short film Moondust, a co-starring role in the short film Potluck, and a featured role in a public service announcement for the city of Los Angeles's OurLA2040 campaign. She hopes to continue to gain as much experience and knowledge within the ever growing entertainment industry.
